Athletes Charitable Supports women’s history month

Women’s history month is a time to celebrate the achievements of our female athletes, social entrepreneurs, and team members who are making a difference in the world of sports and philanthropy. These incredible women are breaking through boundaries and making an impact in their world as members and giving legends with Athletes Charitable. 

Karrie Crocker serves as a Strategic Membership Advisor for Athletes Charitable, helping to empower professional athletes to maximize their brands and national influence through philanthropic giving. Her role guides athletes to become social entrepreneurs and provides measures of sustainability an athlete can establish once joining Athletes Charitable. She brings with her over a decade of experience gained from working in higher academics. Karrie is a vital member of the Athletes Charitable team and we are grateful for her dedication and commitment to serving our clients. 

Diamond DeShields is an elite WNBA athlete who recently joined the Dallas Wings. She was drafted out of the University of Tennessee as the No. 3 overall pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft.  She celebrated her 1,000th WNBA career point when she poured in a career-high 30 points against Connecticut. Diamond founded her 3-D Foundation in 2021 with a mission to provide financial support to youth in need of eye care including, but not limited to, eye exams, glasses, corrective eye procedures, and educational materials. Diamond has been active in her work with youth, recently gifting optometry services for five elementary school students in Clarkston, Georgia who were in need during the holiday season. Alexis Belton is an LPGA Epson Tour player ranked No. 3 in the world for the World Long Drive and the No. 1-ranked American. She is a two-time event winner on the World Long Drive Tour with a career-best drive of 357 yards. Alexis founded the Belton Drive Foundation in 2021 with a mission to educate, inspire, and introduce youth to the power of golf outside of traditional club settings. Dr. Barbara Joy Jones is a dual board-certified family medicine physician at The Healthy Woman practice in Snellville, Georgia. She is a sought-after medical expert contributor on CNN and HLN. Dr. Jones believes in the mission of The Healthy woman, and she teaches young resident physicians and enjoys motivational speaking. She founded White Coats and Gavels in 2021 with the mission of forming a networking group for Women of Color Physicians, Attorneys, and Judges to collaborate professionally and bond personally. Diamond DeShields Moves to Dallas

The Dallas Wings have acquired Athletes Charitable member and All-Star guard, Diamond DeShields. Congratulations, Diamond!

Carter Jr. Inaugural Top Golf Event

Athletes Charitable member, Wendell Carter Jr. hosted his Inaugural Top Golf event last week in Orlando. This event raised money to support the A Platform 2 Foundation STEAM aviation program.

Trey Dean at the Combine

Athletes Charitable member, Trey Dean, officially entered the NFL draft and had a standout performance at the NFL Combines, benching 225 pounds, 25 times for the most reps by a Defensive back.
