Hannibal Navies is leading the charge at Athletes Charitable as Vice President of Development. Hannibal is a 9-year NFL Veteran, social entrepreneur, influencer, and founder of 360 Sports Academy and the Hannibal Navies Foundation. In addition to being part of the brotherhood of the NFL, Hannibal is passionate about philanthropy and social good efforts that create meaningful change in disenfranchised communities.
His education includes an executive MBA and entrepreneurial certification from Harvard University. He most recently served as the Director of Engagement & Outreach for The Trust, powered by the National Football Players Association. This effort provides transitioning NFL players with the support and resources needed to ensure their success outside the game of football.
His leadership in this work reflects the dedication that Hannibal has for empowering professional athletes and his desire to see them thrive beyond their sports careers. Hannibal has made an impact on the lives of several professional athletes through his work, personal influence and mentorship. His extensive experience as an entrepreneur, public speaker and philanthropist have groomed and qualified him for his role at Athletes Charitable.
At the same time, Mr. Batch is a professional speaker who takes his motivational messages about teamwork and entrepreneurialism to corporate and nonprofit audiences across the country. His speeches include “Expect Your Best” and “From Sweat Suit to Business Suit: It’s Never Too Early to Plan Your Next Success.”
Mr. Batch is an entrepreneur whose company, Impellia, brings state-of-the-art sports medicine and rehabilitation technologies to everyone. As Co-Founder, Mr. Batch and his partners have brought to market tech innovations from the University of Michigan, the University of Pittsburgh, and the University of Colorado.
His interest in sports medicine extends to research as well. Mr. Batch is a Player Advisor on the Football Players Health Study at Harvard University. He also serves as an Advisory Council Member for the University of Pittsburgh Brain Institute. His long experience as an athlete dealing with injuries, pain, and other health consequences have also led to Mr. Batch’s interest in the health benefits found in the cannabis industry.
His commitment to helping others is unwavering, especially regarding health and wellness. In November 2021, Mr. Batch joined Capstone Holdings, Inc., a business incubator and investment group. As Senior Vice President of Strategic Investments, he will help CapStone grow its investment portfolio and partnerships in the emerging medical marijuana and technology industries.
Since 1999, his Best of the Batch Foundation has been a catalyst for enhancing economic and educational opportunities for communities in over nine southwestern Pennsylvania counties. The foundation seeks to facilitate resources whereby all kids and families are equipped to build their own best futures.
Mr. Batch served on multiple boards. They include the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania, the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, and the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh.
Charlie Batch is a recipient of numerous awards, including the 2015 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia and the 2013 Byron “Whizzer” White NFLPA Man of the Year Award. Mr. Batch holds a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Robert Morris University. He also holds honorary doctorate degrees from Point Park University, LaRoche University, Washington & Jefferson College, and his alma mater, Eastern Michigan University.
Jarvis Johnson hails from the Sunshine State of Florida. Raised in Liberty City, Miami, FL. Johnson’s mother made it her mission that her son does not succumb to the pressures of street life. For Johnson, excelling in the classroom, and on the field, allowed for him to be recruited by one of the top university’s known for prestige, academics, and athletics. Rutgers University! RU would be the catalyst for Johnson’s journey as a student-athlete, and later, a budding Entrepreneur.
Johnson obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Administration of Justice from RU. As a student athlete, he was a Bronko-Nagurski Award Candidate, earned Big East All American Honors, All ECAC Team, All Big East Conference, was Team Captain, and was Team M.V.P. This led to Johnson playing professionally in the N.F.L for the Baltimore Ravens as a Safety and Defensive Back, one of the top teams across the NFL.
Johnson knew he would want to give back in a way that can design family legacy, influence and inspire k12,create awareness of the impact in serving communities, including your Community all by taking action. Johnson philanthropic efforts and partnerships motivated him to further his studies and obtain his Master ofScience in Counseling, from Tiffin University and Finance Certificate from University of Miami. The “NFLJourneymen” does exist. Now, coming from the Green Bay Packers, Department of Player Engagement,Johnson will also serve as a Strategic Membership Coordinator for Athletes Charitable, a new division ofUnited Charitable. Athletes Charitable empowers professional athletes to maximize their brands and national influence through philanthropic giving and much more!
Karrie Crocker brings over a decade of experience gained from working in higher academics. She is a college professor at Mercer University and Remington College within the Liberal Arts program specifically focusing on Communication Studies & Public Speaking. As a public speaking instructor, she engages and works with traditional and non-traditional students to enhance their ability to present personally and professionally in many different settings. She also creates and develops course content within her curriculum to ensure forward progress with her students and her university.
Karrie also serves as a Strategic Membership Advisor for Athletes Charitable, a new division of United Charitable launched in 2021. Athletes Charitable empowers professional athletes to maximize their brands and national influence through philanthropic giving. Her role has included business, strategy & membership branding & development along with the overall management of the athlete or entertainer. Karrie holds a master’s degree in communications studies from Marshall University where she also was a member of the Women’s Basketball team. She serves on the special council committee for her local school, Buford Academywhere she focuses on fundraising and sponsorships. She recently became a member of the Boys n Girls Club steering committee as a founding member of a newly created club. Her role will include sponsorships development & mentorship.
Karrie resides in the suburbs of Atlanta GA with her husband Christopher, a former 12 year veteran in the NFL, along with her 2 children Cydney (10) & Emersyn (7). She enjoys leading her daughters in the advancement of their sports they are heavily involved in: tennis, soccer & basketball.
