Athletes Charitable Members Give back to education

Education has the power to transform lives, breaking the chains of poverty, and unlocking opportunities for individuals to reach their full potential. It is the key to empowerment, enabling individuals to make informed decisions, contribute meaningfully to society, and pursue their dreams. By investing in education, we invest in the future, creating a ripple effect that benefits not only individuals but entire communities. As we navigate an ever-evolving world, the role of education becomes increasingly crucial, and the importance of giving back to education and fostering educational philanthropy cannot be overstated. Our Members, with their influence and resources, play a pivotal role in championing this cause.

Athletes, often revered for their on-field prowess, have the ability to leverage their influence for the greater good. Three of our Giving Legends, AJ Brown; wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles; Cordy Glenn, former offensive tackle for the Buffalo Bills;  and DJ Reader, nose tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals;  are offering scholarships to student-athletes from their local high schools, and have recognized the importance of education in their journeys.

The AJ Brown scholarship, funded through the AJ Brown Foundation,  will be awarded to five deserving seniors from Murrell Dobbins Technical High School in Philadelphia, PA. The Cordy Glenn Scholarship, funded through the Cordy Glenn Foundation, will be awarded to five seniors from Riverdale Highschool in Atlanta, GA. The A Son Never Forgets Community Grant, spearheaded by DJ Reader, will be awarded to seniors from Grimsley High School or James B. Dudley High School in Greensboro, NC.

We are so proud of our members and their enthusiasm for giving back to their communities by offering scholarships to students from their local high schools.  Check out the links below to learn more about these athletes and their scholarships.
